They struggle because the moment they lose control — the moment the ground disappears — panic takes over. And panic can't be fixed with technique. You can know exactly how to kick and breathe and still completely fall apart the moment it gets real.
The problem isn't skill. It's that your body never learned to feel safe in water. Until it does, nothing else sticks.
The process
I don't start with swimming. I start with you.
First I need to understand your situation — what happened, what triggers the panic, where exactly your body stops trusting the water. Because for some people it's floating. For some it's submerging. For some it's only the deep end. It's individual, and the plan has to be too.
We see what you're comfortable with, what triggers stress, and identify exactly what to focus on first. No generic plan — yours specifically.
Breathing, floating, staying calm even when stress shows up. Your body learns to feel safe before we ask it to move anywhere.
Step by step, at your pace — so instead of reacting automatically, you actually know what to do. Never pushed into anything before your body is ready.

Who I am
I'm Hleb. I work with adults in Warsaw who feel unsafe or panicked in water — privately, in English, one on one.
I'm not here to throw you in the deep end and tell you to figure it out. I've seen what that does to people and it's exactly why most adults are still stuck.
My approach is different because I treat this as what it actually is — not a skill problem, but a trust problem between you and the water. Fix that first, and everything else follows.

I've tried lessons before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
Because most lessons start with technique — kicking, arms, breathing. I start with understanding what's actually happening for you and why. The method is built around your specific triggers, not a generic progression. That's the difference.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on where you're starting and how deep the fear goes. Some people move quickly, others need more time. After our first session I'll be able to give you a realistic picture of what to expect.
Is the whole lesson really in English?
Yes. Everything — from the first message to the last session — is in English.
What if I panic during a session?
That's expected and completely fine. We won't be in situations your body isn't ready for. And when stress does show up — which it will — that's actually the moment we work with, not around. You'll learn exactly how to handle it in real time.
